Who operates this site

This site is operated by Fastener Supply, trading on fastenersupply.net — the .net only. A separate, unrelated company owns the .com; they are not us and we are not responsible for their site or their handling of your data. We supply fasteners in bulk to businesses across Africa: merchants, fabricators, roofing manufacturers, contractors and mines.

What we collect from quote and enquiry forms

When you complete the bulk enquiry or contact us, we collect the details you type in: your name, company, work email, phone number, country or delivery destination, the products you are interested in, volume and specification notes, and any message you add.

We use those details for one purpose: to understand the enquiry, come back to you with a quote, and handle the order if you place one. We do not add you to a marketing list you did not ask for.

Cookies and analytics

This site does not run advertising cookies, ad pixels or third-party tracking profiles. The only cookies used are the technical ones needed to keep the site working and to keep staff signed in to the internal enquiry inbox. Because we set no advertising or profiling cookies, there is no consent banner to click through.

We do not sell your information

We never sell or rent personal information. We share enquiry details only where it is needed to deliver what you asked for — for example with a manufacturing partner pricing your line items, or with a freight forwarder, clearing agent or carrier moving your consignment. Service providers who handle data on our behalf, such as email and hosting, act on our instructions and only for us.

How long we keep it

Enquiry and commercial records are kept for as long as the relationship is live and afterwards for the period ordinary business, tax and shipping records need to be retained. Once there is no commercial or legal reason to keep a record, we delete it or strip the personal details out of it.

Access, correction and deletion

Ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email quotes@fastenersupply.net or call +27 10 594 0118 and we will confirm once it is done.

The version published on this URL is always the current one. If we change how enquiry data is handled, we update this page and the date above.
